Lotus is currently working on new material. We'll be out over new year's with a few new songs, and we're planning several gigs for the next year! New songs will soon find their way to our MySpace site, and we hope you will enjoy them as much as we do.

Friday September 5th,

Lotus will be warming up for Slug Syndicate at an Anti Drug charity event held at G60, Drammen. Other bands playing this night are LovePlanet and Martial Machine!
Doors open at 18:00

Saturday September 6th,
Lotus will be playing at the Nede På Stasjonen festival in Lierbyen, Lier.
Gates open at 16:00

New band member

We welcome Ingrid Schei to the band as our long-awaited flute player. Ingrids skills and her knowledge learnt through classical training has been a great resource to the band.
The circle is now complete, and we are done looking for new members to complete the band. We will now focus one hundred percent at getting the band ready to play live shows.

New Drummer

We have finally found a new drummer, and he will start practising with the band towards the end of March. We met Øystein during one of his gigs with a local rock band, and his playing skills convinced us into inviting him to join Lotus, a request he gladly accepted.

Merry X-mas!

First of all, we want to wish all our friends out there a very merry X-mas, and a happy new year! We are sorry for the lack of updates on the site this autumn, we will try to post more often in 2008.
The new year will certainly be an interesting one for the band. We have been trying out the new singer and synth-player this autumn, and we are happy to announce that they are now both full time members of the band. I have been writing some new material that we are all really looking forward to be trying out when we start practising again in January. Some samples will be presented at this site as soon as its ready.
